As an Artist and Sculptor for over 18 years, I have been often thrown into different challenges.

As a professional, time does have a factor on my work finding tools that can handle the job faster and with precision. Many years ago not long after the original 4inch Grinder Arbortech Blade came on the market I spoilt myself and bought one and have never looked back.

Over the years new and exciting tools were produced by Arbortech in which can be used on many mediums, such as stone, wood and believe it or not even Ice.

The blades for the mini Arbortech are 50mm Diamond Blades, 50mm Arbortech blades which is the same as the original Arbortech blades but smaller, and 50mm tungsten tip blades in which are great with ice carving.

In 2002 I represented Australia at the Winter Olympics in Utah USA. In the World Ice Carving Championships, and then toured with the best Ice Sculptors in the world around the USA, performing Ice Sculpture for Absolut Vodka.

During this I discovered new tools from the other sculptors but as well they where all fascinated by the Arbortech tools with how clean, fast and efficient they are.

My main mediums for sculpture are Ice, Stone and Wood, the mini Arbortech diamond blade is great on stone and because of the design of the shaft it is a great tool for getting in tight definition areas.

As with the power chisel it is a awesome tool for timber, having the same slender design as the mini Arbortech, it is great for tight areas and takes a lot of effort out.

The other great thing about Arbortechs products is it is an Australian product and one to be proud of. I feel if you're a sculptor such as myself or just want to have a go I definitely suggest trying the Arbortech range of tools.
